Our Process

DISCOVER

Every project begins with a conversation.

We take the time to understand your vision, priorities, budget, and timeline. Whether you’re building a custom home or transforming your existing space, we want to understand what matters most to you and your family.

Goal: Establish the scope and determine if we’re a good fit.

PLAN

Great projects start with thoughtful planning.

We’ll work together to develop the design, review ideas, discuss budgets, and identify potential challenges before construction begins. Our goal is to make informed decisions early and avoid surprises later.

Goal: Create a clear plan and realistic expectations.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Before construction starts, we finalize details and prepare for success.

This phase includes estimating, scheduling, permitting, selections, and coordination with designers and trade partners.

Goal: Ensure everyone is aligned before work begins.

BUILD

This is where ideas become reality.

Throughout construction, we focus on quality craftsmanship, communication, and keeping the project moving forward. Clients receive regular updates and can trust that details are being managed carefully from start to finish.

Goal: Deliver a quality project with a positive building experience.

IN THE PRESS

At Home Arkansas Magazine

“The story of Angie and Stacey Stafford’s home is a lesson in patience. Having run across several acres of land at the edge of Ferndale a couple years after they married, they immediately fell in love with the potential it offered.”

"Page Building Co. is an awesome team whose focus is clearly quality and customer satisfaction. They are very talented and truly have a passion for their craft. We worked with them to redesign and prepare for updates and renovations in our 100+ yr old house. They knew some of the pitfalls to watch out for in an old house, and they were sensitive to our budget and open to our ideas and questions. They start where all good design-build teams start - with a survey of our space and a thoughtful discussion about our intentions, hopes and limitations. They can take a process from start to finish, or meet you somewhere in the middle. If you have a project or an idea, set up a consult. We think you'll appreciate the honesty, creativity and experience Page Building Co. brings to the table for each and every project."

"We had a great experience with Page Building Co. for the renovation of kitchen and living room and loved being able to see options for the project before they started. They were on time, great communicators and we knew that we could trust the quality of their work...so much so that we relied on them again for a second project a year later."

  • Chris

"David managed and performed the entire construction of our new home, realized our architects design brilliantly and flexibly and were a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail was sustained and their communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend them."

  • Terri

“David helped us transform our pretty much unused back porch into a much more livable space with a fireplace that blends in so well that it doesn’t look like an addition. A TV and outdoor heaters make it more of a year round space as well. He also did a major design upgrade to the steps leading to the pool. No budget surprises either!”

  • Sam

“David helped us renovate a mid century modern house and did a fantastic job. All of the work was top class. He even helped us qualify for historic tax credits. We were able to get the house listed on historic registry when he was finished. Highly recommend!”

Page Building did a great job on my barn addition. It was difficult to blend the new structure into the existing barn but David Page drew it up and built it and we are very happy with the final product. He is a perfectionist and works in a manner like he would if he were building his own structure.

  • Nicole

David updated my kitchen and bathrooms. He did an incredible job. He learned from his father who was one of Little Rock’s top carpenters. David was taught to go above and beyond anyone’s expectations and he does that with all jobs. Originally, I asked his dad to do the job but he was unavailable and instead I got the next best thing. David is extremely humble and that’s hard to find these days. He is a perfectionist with an acute sense of detail. David is dependable and he listens to what you say and want done. He only hires people to help him if they have the same work ethic that he does as well as his mind on quality and craftsmanship. If you want a job well done and right the first time, David Page is your guy.

  • Angela

This incredibly talented Man in the building/engineering industry is undeniably talented, and has an eye for detail, and will make sure all the moving parts are done to perfection. Our building experience with him was smooth, and I actually loved the whole process!

  • John

David and his team at Page Building Co. did an outstanding job on our home, and I can’t recommend him enough. From the very first conversation, David took the time to really understand what we wanted — he listened, asked good questions, and never tried to push us toward something that didn’t fit our vision or budget. As both a licensed engineer and contractor, he brings a level of technical know-how you don’t often find in a builder, and it showed in how well he anticipated problems before they became issues.

What stood out most to me was his character. David is honest, straightforward, and genuinely cares about doing right by his clients, not just finishing the job. He communicated with us constantly throughout the project, kept us in the loop on decisions, and there were never any surprises with the budget. Beyond the work itself, he’s just a good, trustworthy guy — the kind of person who treats your home like it’s his own.

  • Ashley

David was professional and timely with his work. I appreciated his clear communication. He also cleaned his work area when he was finished.

  • Al

David is a quality builder. He was not the most expensive nor cheapest. I can say nothing negative about David except he moved from Arkansas. The fire pit was custom built by him, and the built in grill is perfect.
